Production Engineer

Ashok Leyland is hiring a Production Engineer for its Chennai, Tamil Nadu team. The role is centered on shop-floor execution, takt adherence, and structured process improvements and will work across design reviews, production readiness, supplier coordination, and day-to-day engineering execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery, reduce mechanical risks, and support practical engineering decisions on drawings, process changes, troubleshooting, and documentation. The ideal candidate brings confidence with Production Planning, Lean, Line Balancing, Kaizen and is comfortable stepping into a full-time role designed for engineers with 0-2 years experience.
